It is timely to bring more order to the conferences being arranged in this field of research. I believe that the research workers in this area must address the areas of application of this work in the very near future. Dr. I. Carol (Yes) I agree with the idea and, as seen in the workshop in Locarno, it seems not to be too difficult to get someone who would be interested in organizing the "second." Chong (Yes) I think "first" is OK because it does not place any time constraint on the "2nd" one, which would follow when there are significant interests and findings from the research community. I do not oppose the term "first" and I think that it would be useful to use this term for the reason you indicated in your letter. The problem would be solved by adding some other criterion such as "First International Breckenridge Conference," even if it is not held each time in Breckenridge. A. Hillerborg Yes B. L.
