Abstract

The paper is focusing on the fatigue response of concrete subjected to biaxial stresses in the compressive-compression-tension (c-C-T) region. where the principal tensile stress is smaller in magnitude than the principal compressive stress. Crack information including crack formation and propagation under controlled conditions for static and fatigue loading was studied. The crack propagation will be modeled using the principles of fracture mechanics.
