Abstract

The authors have proposed visco-elasto-plastic suspension element method in order to simulate the fracture behavior of hardened concrete. In this analytical method, a simplified non-continuum model for aggregates and matrix is used, and the equation of motion is solved by the dynamic simulation method. In this paper, the details of this analytical method and the analytical results are described.
