AB  - An evaluation method for the lifetime seismic reliability of reinforced concrete structure is proposed. In this method, a seismic risk analy- sis is proposed and the damage indices for RC members are defined which take into consideration bending and shearing behaviors. Fur- thermore, their damage indices are examined by the analysis of several damage reports, and the seismic reliability of RC piers which were de- signed and reinforced by recent design methods are estimated.
