Abstract

A local crack opening displacement softening model is developed in the framework of discrete element method in order to investigate the fracture behaviour of concrete with different aggregate size. The results showed that the proposed model can be used for numerical analysis of concrete fracture and the zone of fracture process zone can be visualized.
