Abstract

The aim of this paper is to investigate interactions between cracking and permeability in the tensile splitting test. Two models are briefly introduced: the first one is dedicated to the concrete modellingatthemeso-scalebymeansoftheEnhancedFiniteElementMethod;thesecondoneisused for the coupling between cracking and permeability. Finally, numerical computations are performed and some comparisons with experimental data are presented.
