In this study, in order to obtain the prediction equation for expressing the drying shrinkage of concrete with higher accuracy, the authors' earlier prediction equation based on two-phase composite model is changed to one based on three-phase model, and is extended to the form taking into account of the effects of member size and shape, and relative humidity of envi ronment. In addition, for the case of no data concerned with aggregate properties, which are input data for the authors' equation, another prediction equation is shown. Furthermore, the proposed prediction equation is discussed in comparison with past data of drying shrinkage.
